MFA RUNWAY COLLECTION

The inspiration behind my thesis was drawn from the Great Depression, using the shades and tones of Arab desert dwellers.

I executed the full body of work from start to finish with the guidance of my mentors. The process involved design work, fabric sourcing, pattern construction, sewing, fittings, alterations and finishings.

Fabrication includes suede, leather, wool suiting and tweed. Sewing techniques include leather quilting and texture blocking.
